A WHITE Christmas! (okay, a white Christmas Eve's Eve)

Our family tradition is to somehow have a white Christmas, or Christmas Eve, or Christmas Eve's eve! Last year it was skiing on the majestic mountains of Vail, Colorado, this year... sledding on the beautiful slopes of Forest Lakes in good ol' Arizona (I'm even up for WHITE sandy beaches... next year maybe?) It was snowing when we left and continued the whole day, providing us with some amazing fresh powder... do you know the street value of this stuff?
We had a ball in this blanket of white... we ate alot of snow... it
wasn't yellow so it's all good!

The momma had to show the girls how is done! One of Kendree's many wipe-outs... she's pretty much ruled out ever liking any kind of snow sport. Would you look at how deep the snow was? It was literally up to Mr.B's behind...good thing he was wearing his ski pants and sexy long underwear to keep those cheeks warm!We made some new friends while we were there from Queen Creek, who had never heard of hookie-bobbin', so Ry had to demonstrate. He hooked the rope onto our truck and threw guess who on the back first...yup, you guessed it. After everyone took a turn, Mr.B got on and did some crazy tricks (of course), but stayed in one piece... unlike the innertubes!

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas! Oh wait... it IS Christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TOO!

What a blast! We're hoping to go this week sometime if it hasn't all melted. Hookie-bobbin is our favorite! ;) It's usually Justin on the back and me driving and aiming for the rocks. I'll have to find out exactly where you went. It looked perfect!

Looks like a fun COLD outing! I am with Ken, sledding isn't one of my fav things to do. It is scary!! I always get hurt too. In Utah I only went down the hill ONCE and didn't get hurt! :)
Tell Ken to get her ski's on...

okay, that sounds fun! I love the sledding. We went to CO but I was way to cold and no now to sled on in Denver! How did I live there? On our drive the worst snow we encountered was on the rim. Not it CO, it was just cold. We did hit glenwood and saw snow and spent the countdown to new years in the hot springs. See you soon??!

That looks so cold and Christmasy white. How fun! It has been forever since I have been sledding unless you can count ice blocking...naw you really can't there just isn't the cold snow in your face factor that you need for a good sledding experience. I'm glad you still have the moves though. The legs in the air are totally the perfect form :)

Looks like you found your white Christmas. You definitely have to creative around here to make it white. Apparently I need to take Kendri with me when we go to the snow, so I have someone to be miserable with. I'm the one wiping out in my family. Tell her she is not alone!
